3-Way Protection
Range Guard is the only system on the market that uses Karbaloy® - a highly effective liquid suppressing agent that fights fires three ways:
1    Breaks the Chemical Reaction

Karbaloy interrupts the chemical chain that causes fires to spread intensify. It stops fire cold

2    Creates Steam and Cools

Range Guard sprays its liquid suppressing agent (Karbaloy) on hot hoods, plenums and appliances - creating steam and cooling as only liquid can. This cooling action reduces damage and helps prevent reignition

3    Smothers the Fire

When discharged, a chemical chain reaction produces a soapy foam. Oxygen is cut off. The fire goes out. The thick layer of foam reduces the possibilities of reignition.

Installation: Straight Line vs. Balanced Piping:

Other systems require "balanced piping". This increases the amount of pipe and fittings needed for the system. It takes longer to install. Labor and material costs are increased. Balanced Piping configurations can also be cumbersome and unsightly.

Range Guard Utilizes straight line piping. This reduces cost and installation time. Piping configurations are designed for maximum efficiency and are aesthetically pleasing.
